Visiting a new church for the first time can seem a little intimidating. Whether you've never been to church before, or whether you are new to the community, your visit at FCCO will be enjoyable for your whole family. You will experience inspiring music and informative preaching in a comfortable setting.


The people who attend FCCO come from all age groups and many different backgrounds. Whoever you are, you will be welcomed warmly at FCCO.


Where we are... FCCO is located in Owensville, Indiana. We have a map and general directions located here.


When to arrive... Sunday morning service begins at 10:00 a.m., so it is probably best to plan on arriving around 9:50 a.m.


Where to park... First-time visitor parking places are available as you enter the north parking lot.


What to expect... You will be greeted with a smile at the front doors and provided a Sunday worship bulletin. First-time guests are not singled-out during the worship service. Our minister normally leads the service. A typical service consists of several songs, both traditional hymns and contemporary music, being sung, followed by the sermon and Communion. You don't have to be a member to participate in Communion. All immersed believers are welcome at the Lord's table. Our Worship service typically lasts about 75 minutes.


What to wear... You should wear what you are comfortable in. FCCO is an informal church and accepts people as they are. Many of our members wear jeans or casual slacks or skirts, while others wear a suit and tie.

What to bring... If you have a Bible, please bring it. If not, or if you forget to bring it, that's ok. We have Bibles available in every pew for use during the service.


For Children...Except for one Sunday per quarter, a children’s worship service is conducted simultaneously during the adult worship service as well as a staffed nursery. Restrooms are available on both floors, with a handicap accessible restroom available near the worship auditorium. Handicap accessible entrances to both the main floor and basement are provided.
